User Data Deletion Instructions

Effective July 28, 2026 · Last updated today

Creator Chart Pvt Ltd (“Creator Chart”, “Creator Co-Pilot”, “we”, “us”) operates a creator analytics, benchmarking, and intelligence platform at creatorchart.in.

Creators and brands using Creator Chart connect their Meta (Instagram / Facebook) accounts through Meta’s official Graph API / Facebook Login to analyze public engagement metrics, benchmark creator growth, and track performance. This page explains what Meta data we store when that connection is established and all the ways you can have it completely deleted or revoked.

What Creator Chart Stores When You Connect Meta

The connection is established using Facebook Login / Instagram Graph API permissions. When an authorized user connects their account, Creator Chart stores for that user’s workspace:

  • The access token Meta issues for the authorized connection, securely encrypted at rest.
  • The permissions (scopes) Meta reports as granted, along with token expiration metadata.
  • The linked Instagram account ID, username/handle, and basic profile info (display name, profile photo URL).
  • Aggregated content and engagement metrics (post counts, follower counts, reach, impressions, interactions).
  • Connection status and diagnostic information (last sync timestamp, synchronization status).
What we never access or store: Creator Chart does not receive or store your Instagram or Facebook password, private direct messages (DMs), personal friends or follower lists, or private personal profile content not relevant to business and creator benchmarking.

1. How to Delete It Yourself in Dashboard Settings

You have full self-service control. You can permanently delete your account, access tokens, and stored analytics directly from inside the Creator Chart dashboard at any time:

  1. Sign in at creatorchart.in/dashboard.
  2. Open Profile / Account Settings from the navigation menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Account Settings section.
  4. Under Delete Account (“Permanently delete your account and all data”), click the Delete button.
  5. Confirm your decision by clicking Yes, Delete Account.

Immediate Action: Confirming account deletion immediately revokes your active Meta access tokens, erases all cached metrics and connected profiles, and purges your user record from our active databases.

2. Removing the App Directly from Instagram / Facebook

You can also revoke Creator Chart’s access directly from the Meta side at any point:

  1. Open Facebook or Instagram and go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Navigate to Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations).
  3. Find Creator Co-Pilot and click Remove / Revoke Access.

Revoking access from your Meta account instantly invalidates our access token, preventing Creator Chart from syncing or requesting any further data from your profile.

3. Requesting Deletion by Email

If you cannot access your Creator Chart dashboard or prefer our support team to process the deletion for you:

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Meta Data Deletion Request”.
  2. Provide your connected Instagram handle and the email address associated with your Creator Chart account so our engineering team can identify the correct workspace.

Our team will verify the request and complete full data deletion within 48 hours (and at maximum within 30 days of receipt). We will send you written confirmation once the purge is complete.

What We Delete, and the Only Things We Keep

Upon receipt of a data deletion request or account deletion:

Complete Purge: We permanently delete or irreversibly destroy the Meta access token and all Meta identifiers stored on the connection — including the user ID, Instagram business account ID, cached profile information, and recent post metrics.
Limited Exceptions: The only records retained after deletion are:
  • Financial/invoice transaction records that we are legally required by tax regulations to preserve for mandatory statutory retention periods.
  • Fully anonymized, de-identified statistical metrics from which all personal identifiers and handles have been permanently removed.
